Governance

The Governance Department supports the leadership and administration of Bonaparte First Nation by strengthening transparent, accountable, and effective governance. Working closely with Chief and Council, the department helps coordinate governance processes, develop policies, and support strategic planning to ensure the Nation operates efficiently and responsibly.

The department also helps maintain governance records, supports leadership decision-making, and works to ensure members remain informed about important community matters. Through these efforts, the Governance Department contributes to building strong governance systems that reflect the values and priorities of the St’uxwtéws people.
